Over the past 12 weeks, we’ve had the privilege of sharing a new collection of powerful, heartfelt, funny, and deeply personal stories from 12 incredible Jewish women in our Twin Cities community.

Each storyteller brought something unique to the mic, and together, they wove a rich and relatable tapestry of Jewish motherhood, daughterhood, identity, joy, heartbreak, and resilience.

From big belly laughs to tearful moments to quiet reflections that lingered long after the episodes ended, Season 2 offered all of us something to hold onto.

Coming in 2026: The Twin Cities Stories from the Tribe Live Show Returns!

We’re so happy to share that TC Jewfolk’s Stories from the Tribe live show will return to the bima on June 22, 2026, for our third annual live storytelling show!

There’s nothing quite like being in the room together — hearing stories unfold in real time, feeling the emotion ripple through the audience, and experiencing the magic of bearing witness to stories as a community.

We can’t wait to welcome the next cast of storytellers to the bima.

Want to Be One of Them?

Auditions will open in January 2026, and we want to hear from YOU (yes, you!).

We’re looking for stories from a wide range of voices, backgrounds, and experiences — because our community is made richer when more of us are heard.

Whether you’re telling a story about your own experience as a Jewish mother or reflecting on the one who raised you, your bubbe, your mother-in-law, etc.– if it’s real and meaningful to you, it’s the kind of story we want on the bima.

This is what makes a great Stories from the Tribe story.

• About 5 minutes long when read aloud
  
• Focused on a specific moment in time
  
• Rich in detail, emotion, and honesty
  
• Connected to the experience of being or having a Jewish mother, bubbe, mother-in-law, etc
  
• Told in your voice, just the way you’d share it out loud with a friend
