Who The Folk?! Irina Vaynerman

When Irina Vaynerman left her role as the deputy commissioner of the Minnesota Department of Human Rights, she did it to start Groundwork Legal, which launched at the beginning of January. But she didn’t realize just how important that timing was, just as Operation Metro Surge was ramping up in Minnesota. We talk about the work she’s doing in this new non-profit, what it was like launching in the midst of Operation Metro Surge, and her time working for the state, on this week’s Who The Folk?! Podcast.
