It’s almost as good as seeing Sesame Street Live.
As part of their guest artist series, the In the Heart of the Beast Puppet and Mask Theatre is bringing “The Puggles – A Platypus Adventure” to the stage on January 16th and 17th.
One TC Jewfolk reader gets a FREE PAIR OF TICKETS and the rest of you get $2 off the $10 ticket price. Just mention “TC Jewfolk” when you get your tickets (in person or on the phone).
What is “The Puggles“?
The Puggles is a musical tale of a brother and sister platypus making their way in this big, big world, discovering the strength in their special characteristics. This family-friendly show combines hand, shadow, blacklight puppetry, masks and live music. The Puggles is the creation of Z Puppets Rosenschnoz (formerly Circus Minimus Puppetry), an award-winning Minneapolis company founded by MOT Shari Aronson & Chris Griffith.
The show is Saturday, January 16, 7:00 pm and Sunday, January 17, at 1:30 and 4:00 pm. Call (612) 721-2535 or go to the In the Heart of the Beast Theatre’s website for more information.
How Can I Win the Free Pair of Tickets?
Easy. Tell us, in the comments below, how you would describe a platypus to an alien on another planet who had never seen the animal before? We’ll enter your emails in a raffle, to be drawn on Wednesday, January 13th at 5:00 pm. One winner will be drawn using “The Hat.”
