How does an artist suddenly decide to embrace the science of sourdough bread-baking? For Omri Zin-Tamir, it was a long, circuitous road. But that road ended in Minneapolis when he started Bakery at 22nd Street out of the basement of his family’s home, and sells both to bread subscribers and visitors to the Mill City Farmer’s Market. We talk about his journey from Israel and how he landed in Minnesota, starting a bakery in his basement, and the difference between patient and lazy, on this week’s Who The Folk?! Podcast.
