Shabbat in the Park in Minneapolis
A Beloved Jewish Twin Cities Tradition
Shabbat in the Park is a beloved annual series hosted by TC Jewfolk and PJ Library, offering families a joyful and welcoming way to celebrate Shabbat together in community.
This low-to-no-barrier program invites families with children to slow down, connect, and enjoy the beauty of Shabbat in a relaxed, outdoor setting.
Bring your own family dinner—whether it’s a picnic from home or takeout from your favorite spot—and join us in the park. We provide challah and juice for blessings, and the rest of the evening is yours to play, unwind, and connect with other families raising Jewish children in the Twin Cities.
Shabbat in the Park is designed to be an easy, meaningful way to welcome Shabbat—no formal program, just community, connection, and a breath of fresh air.
