Join us at Shaller Family Sholom East Campus for a heartfelt book talk with Jodi Melsness, registered nurse and author of “The Lemon Bar Queen,” a memoir inspired by her personal and professional journey with dementia care.
As a nurse working with people living with dementia — and as a daughter who became a caregiver after her own mother’s diagnosis — Jodi brings a compassionate and deeply personal perspective to the caregiving experience.
Her memoir captures the full range of that journey: the joyful moments, the funny moments, the difficult days and the love that carries caregivers through it all.
Caregivers and families at any stage of their journey are invited to join us for an afternoon of reflection, connection and understanding.
