Win Free Tickets To See HaBanot Nechama

Israeli chart-topping folk trio HaBanot Nechama will perform Thursday January 14th at Adath Jeshurun as part of their current North American tour. TC Jewfolk readers have a chance to win a pair of tickets to the show.

HaBanot Nechama, which means “Comfort Girls” in Hebrew, is formed by members Dana Adini, Yael Deckelbaum, and Karolina. All three have musical careers on their own, but come together as HaBanot Nechama to create rustic, soulful sounds. The Jerusalem Post reports that the women have been “phenomenally successful [since they] burst onto the Israeli scene in 2007.” Their critically acclaimed debut album went platinum within weeks of its 2007 release. The single “So Far” was a number one hit on Israeli radio in 2008 and won first prize at the annual “ACUM” Awards,  given by the Israeli Copyright Association. You might also recognize their single “Lovers” which was featured on the last episode of Showtime’s the L word.
