Holiday season in Israel is all about music festivals. You can hear the sounds riding on the waves of the warm winds of the Yehuda Desert, emerging from the Mt. Carmel forest or just gliding through the air, along the shores of the Sea of Galilee. Israel is being hugged by music this time of year.
This is the season of LOVE, of joy, and most of all it is the season of embracing each other and sharing all together the beautiful life.
So in the spirit of brotherhood (or in my case, sisterhood), I have gathered, with the help of my best friend Helly, an assembly of songs, some in Hebrew and some in English, to share the voice of Israel and the sweet taste of Israeli happiness.
“Not No More” – Tal Cohen Shalev (This one will really get you into the spirit of an Israeli outdoor music festival)
“Yalla Boy” – Michael Greilsammer
“Modern Love” (David Bowie cover) – Geva Alon
“Smack Snack” – Terry Poison
“Hit Me” – Tamar Eisenman
“Friday” – Dana Ivgy
“Weak” – Asaf Avidan & the Mojos
“Ah Ah Ah Ahava” – Efrat Gosh
“Toxic” (Britney Spears cover) – Yael Naim
“Rabot Hadrahim” – Daniel Salomon and Dana Adini (filmed at my best friend Helly’s house!)
“Lihyot (So Far)” – HaBanot Nechama
“I Have No Place” – Metropolin
“If I Leave” – Ninet
“Mikol Haahavot” – The Idan Raichel Project
“Yasmine” – The Blue Elephant
“Sky Woman” – Gilad Segev
“Mukeret Li Mipa’am” – Din Din Aviv
ENJOY!

Nice post. I learn something totally new and challenging
on sites I stumbleupon everyday. It will always
be interesting to read through content from other writers and practice a little
something from their sites.
