Chag Sameach and a happy Sukkot. There are still a few days to have some fun in your sukkah or in your home. Here are some fun songs to sing and some fun games to play as you celebrate the harvest.

Vegetable Soup
Words and music by Wendy Baldinger
I planted a garden of vegetables.
I planted a garden of vegetables.
Now I’m pickin’ all of those vegetables
Gonna make some vegetable soup.
Vegetable soup, Hot! Hot!
Vegetable soup, Hot! Hot!
Put the vegies in the pot. Hot! Hot!
Gonna make some vegetable soup.
Put Zucchini in.
Chop, chop, chop
Broccoli, Chop, chop, chop.
Onions, Chop, chop, chop.
Gonna make some
Vegetable soup.
We are gonna build a Sukkah
Traditional
We are gonna build a sukkah, sukkah
We are gonna build it high.
We are gonna build a sukkah, sukkah
Build it till we reach the sky
We are gonna build a sukkah, sukkah
We are gonna build it strong
We are gonna build a sukkah, sukkah
It will last the whole week long.
I’ll Help You
Wendy Baldinger
I’ll help you clean your room
I’ll help you with a mop and broom
I’ll help you tie your shoe
It’s a mitzvah to help, and I’ll help you.
I’ll help you sweep the floor
I’ll help you get things at the store
I’ll help you with what you need to do
It’s a mitzvah to help, and I’ll help you.
Thinking of things we like to do.
Running and playing, singing, too.
It’s always fun to lend a hand.
What a great way to be a friend.
I’ll help you wash the clothes
I’ll help you shovel when it snows
I’ll help you see it through
It’s a mitzvah to help, and I’ll help you.
I’ll help you when the work gets tough
I’ll help you when you’ve done enough
I’ll help you see it through
It’s a mitzvah to help, and I’ll help you.
Thinking of how we spend our day
Let’s be kind in what we say
It’s always fun to lend a hand.
Let’s help out our family and friends.
I’ll help you when you’re feeling cold
I’ll help you, here’s a hand to hold
I’ll help you when you’re feelin’ blue
It’s a mitzvah to help, and I’ll help you.
It’s a mitzvah to help, and I’ll help you.
