JLink™ Feature Friday: November Edition

Get to know Jewish professionals and JLink members in this month’s Feature Friday roundup!

Tom Bomberg!

Happy Friday everyone! I am Tom Bomberg, a chiropractor in the northwest suburbs. I became a chiropractor after meeting Israeli paratroopers…in a lot of pain. I knew there had to be a successful way to quell or eliminate their pain besides medication or risky surgery. Shortly after, I stumbled across chiropractic and u-turned my professional studies. I graduated from Northwestern in 2014 and began treating patients with low back pain, neck pain, prenatal discomforts, headaches, and more.

My philosophy and practice differs from most: Everyone who walks in the door receives a tailored treatment plan designed to help maximize benefits. I also specialize in sports injuries and am the only provider in New Hope certified in soft-tissue Active Release Treatment (ART). By addressing soft-tissue issues in conjunction with adjustments, my patients experience relief for longer periods of time, thus not having to come to see me as often! I make you feel better and it doesn’t break your bank!

I really enjoy providing complementary corporate educational classes because I get to discuss healthy lifestyle practices with professionals. My 10-minute health talks cover ergonomics, sleep, diet, sports, and biology. Did I mention it’s FREE!?!

JLink is something I use regularly to find referrals, to network and learn more about other professions that I am less familiar with. Glad to be a part of JLink!

Moran Medina Gafni

“Hi everyone, my name is Moran Gafni. I am happily married to Ohad and the proud mother of May (5) and Dor (2.5). All of us were born in Israel and relocated to Minnesota two years ago. I have a bachelor of science degree (B.Sc) in life sciences from Ben-Gurion University, Israel.

I am a certified parenting coach who specializes in identifying the baby’s body language, sleep consultant and a potty trainer.

After giving birth to my beautiful daughter my life has changed dramatically, my priorities were completely rearranged, in the beginning, I tried to follow my maternal instincts, yet I felt lost and overwhelmed from the various advice I got. So after years of interesting and challenging work with physicians as a pharmaceutical representative, I have decided to become a certified parenting coach out of a genuine desire to help other parents that feel the way I felt.

My mission is to help parents raise healthy, happy and self-confident children. I truly receive immense satisfaction from each coaching experience that I am positive I have made the right choice of changing my career path!
Ever since I realized that this is my true calling in life !I’ve been helping other parents to understand their baby’s needs and meet them in the right time, to improve their sleep issues, to potty train their toddlers in an empowering learning process, and to improve the communication with their children. My coaching enhances the parent’s confidence, create a calm, peaceful and supportive environment to raise a healthy, happy self-confident child.

I conduct small-group workshops, personal coaching (in-home or online/virtual), classes and seminars on a variety of parenting topics”
