Who The Folk?! Adam Garen

Adam Garen’s journey from college debate coach to financial adviser doesn’t seem like an obvious sort of transition. Unless you know Garen, then it makes all the sense in the world — because he wants to help people. Which is also what drives his volunteer work around the Twin Cities Jewish community. We talk about his journey back to Minnesota and his current line of work, the importance of his volunteer work with Maayanot, the egalitarian mikveh here in the Twin Cities, and how his synagogue, Mount Zion Temple, helped his father come to Minnesota 77 years ago, on this week’s Who The Folk Podcast.
