Adam Bohanan is on a mission: change the way people think about Hanukkah music. Which is why the Black and Jewish singer/guitarist is organizing A Very Funky Hanukkah Show at the Cedar Cultural Center on December 18, fusing his R&B/blues/funk roots with music for Hanukkah, inspired by his favorite song, Sharon Jones & the Dap Kings 8 Days (of Hanukkah). We talk about what his musical influences are, what songs may be part of the show (and one that absolutely will NOT be), and being on Team Reba on The Voice last year, on this week’s Who The Folk?!
