Who The Folk?! Hannah MacKenzie-Margulies

A dancer and choreographer, Hannah MacKenzie-Margulies started Little Tanz Theater, in part, as a place for her staging of “Hershel and the Hanukkah Goblins.” But also to create family-friendly dance theater works inspired by Ashkenazi Jewish traditions of Eastern Europe and the diaspora. Fortunately, she has a robust Yiddish community in the Twin Cities to lean on. We talk about her new venture, trying to make it as a professional ballerina, and how she got into Lindy Hop and swing dancing, on this week’s Who The Folk?! Podcast.
