Joel Glaser spent time doing what many who work in television do: move often to smaller communities. After years of bouncing around, Glaser moved to the sales side of media, and eventually came home to St. Paul, where he has spent the last 14 years as the CEO of Ampers, a group of diverse community radio stations across Minnesota. We talk about how this group serves underserved communities statewide, how he found his way to non-profit media, and the difference between public radio and community radio, on this week’s Who The Folk?! Podcast.
